Required documents
Aptitude-procedure application to the Institut für Ägyptologie und Koptologie by 15 July with: (1) copy of the first-degree certificate including Transcript of Records (if the certificate is not yet issued: Transcript of Records of at least 150 ECTS achieved so far); (2) a written academic paper with Egyptology/Coptology relevance from the first degree (e.g. excerpt of the bachelor thesis, a longer academic essay or a term paper, approx. 30,000 characters including spaces) in German, English, French or Italian, demonstrating subject competence.
