Completed and signed application for admission (Antrag auf Zulassung; paper form to International Office or MoveIN for the listed master's programmes); complete CV without gaps (month/year, LMU template available); certified copies of all university certificates, degree certificates and transcripts of records with grading scale in the original language; certified translations of all certificates not in English, French, Italian, Catalan, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian or Spanish; APS certificate for applicants with certificates from PR China, India and Vietnam; ZASt (Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle für den Freistaat Bayern) recognition notification where required; proof of German proficiency (DSH-2 level or accepted equivalent) — except for English-taught master's programmes; letter of acceptance/approval from the master's programme coordination (may be submitted later, with registration); registration certificate and confirmation of all previous studies at German universities (Studienverlaufsbescheinigung); official proof of name change where applicable; NOT required: letters of recommendation, reports or internship references (International Office); do NOT send original certificates. Aptitude-procedure programmes additionally require the faculty's aptitude-application documents (per programme page).
