Required documents
Tabular CV (with date/place of birth and educational history); transcript of records signed/sealed or electronically signed by the examination office, detailing individual assessments from the first degree (≥150 ECTS evidenced; certified German translation if not issued in German/English); optionally: certificates/transcripts from further prior studies as additional qualification evidence; philosophical written sample (essay/term paper/final thesis) originally written in German, min. 15,000 characters incl. spaces, from philosophy-related prior study and passed ('bestanden' or at least 'ausreichend'), or a complete independently produced German translation with a declaration of independent authorship. Submission: preferred by e-mail (PDF attachments, max. 5 MB) to master.philosophie@lrz.uni-muenchen.de with short cover letter, or by post to the faculty.
