Online via HFT applicant portal: first degree certificate (if not yet available: certified provisional average grade, certificate to follow before start of lectures); tabular CV with photo; portfolio with 10 outstanding independent work samples (PDF, max. 20 MB); letter stating specialisation wish for one of 3 focus areas (Experience Design / Social Design / Sustainable Design; 1 A4 page, max. 3,000 characters, PDF); proof of practice phase; higher education entrance qualification (HZB) certificate. Foreign applicants additionally: certified German translation of HZB certificate, Studienkolleg Konstanz recognition certificate, German language proof (DSH-2/TestDaF 4).
