The European and Regional Security programme at University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (УниБИТ) (Faculty of Information Sciences (Факултет „Информационни науки“); professional field 9.1 Национална сигурност) is a Master's Degree (ОКС „Магистър“) program delivered in English over a duration of 1.5 years (3 semesters) (90 ECTS). This Master programme in Security Studies provides comprehensive training in national and international security, covering security policy analysis, intelligence studies, counter-terrorism, and conflict prevention. Students examine contemporary security challenges including cyber threats, hybrid warfare, and transnational organised crime. Graduates are prepared for careers in government security agencies, international organisations, think tanks, and the private security sector.

Diploma for completed higher education - OKS 'Bachelor' (4 years) or OKS 'Master' (5 years), original and copy, or academic transcript if diploma not yet issued; overall diploma grade at least 'Good' (3.50). Admission is by documents only. Right to state-funded (DP) places have graduates of UNIBIT with a Bachelor's degree in the same professional field (DP application window 10 August - 4 September 2026).
Application to the Rector; original and copy of higher education diploma (or academic transcript); copy of payment receipt for the application fee of 34 EUR with the candidate's full name and personal ID number (paid to UNIBIT account, also at the UNIBIT cashier's office room 103). Documents may be submitted in person at the Training Department (room 1, floor 1, 119 Tsarigradsko shose Blvd., Sofia, 10:00-12:30 and 13:00-14:00 on working days) or electronically via the published online form.
