The Arta designului de interior — The Art of Interior Design programme at Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (Facultatea Arte Plastice, Decorative și Design (FAPDD)) is a Master's Degree (Ciclul II, master de profesionalizare) program delivered in Romanian over a duration of 1.5 years (3 semesters per study plan approved by AMTAP Senate decision, proces-verbal nr. 8 din 03.07.2020: Year I two semesters + Year II first semester) (90 ECTS). This programme covers spatial planning, interior architecture, materials science, lighting design, furniture selection, and 3D interior rendering. Students design functional, aesthetically compelling residential and commercial interior spaces. Graduates work in interior architecture studios and furniture design firms.

Competition formula FAPDD Ciclul II (all specialities): MC = 0.5×PC (speciality exam) + 0.3×MG (diploma average) + 0.2×MEL (licence-exam average). AMTAP 2025-2026 bachelor graduates of the same programme are exempt from the exam (Senate decision 24.06.2026). 2 state-funded places in 2026-2027 ('Arta designului de interior'). Portfolio of own works required for admission (FAPDD audition requirements).
