The Green Economy and Sustainable Development programme at South East European University (SEEU) (Faculty of Business and Economics) is a Master in Green Economy and Sustainable Development, Second Cycle program delivered in Albanian / Macedonian / English tracks available over a duration of 1 year / 2 semesters (model 4+1) (60). This programme provides training in sustainable economic development, covering circular economy principles, environmental economics, green finance, and sustainable business models. Students study the transition from linear to sustainable economic systems, carbon markets, and policy instruments for environmental sustainability. Graduates work in sustainability consulting, green finance, environmental policy, and corporate sustainability departments.
Key facts
For the English track: minimum B1 CEFR or equivalent score on the English Language Institutional Test of the SEEU Language Centre. For Albanian/Macedonian tracks: knowledge of Albanian + English or Macedonian + English required (parts of materials may be delivered in English).
Completed first cycle (Bachelor) university diploma equivalent to four years / 240 ECTS (model 4+1, 60 ECTS master). Advantage for cumulative GPA 8.00/10 or above. Applicants from non-matching fields: faculty commission sets additional enrolment criteria. Foreign diplomas must be nostrified at the Ministry of Education and Science of RNM (decision deadline 30 November 2026).
